Fused Glass Sculpture,  Adventures in Paradise,  recycled blown glass, fused and slumped into a wave mold.  Mounted horizontally or can be vertical.

Fused Glass Plate.  This is another one made from the cut off tops of lamp shades before I drill them for pendants or lamps.  This is a full fusion  and is 200% recycled glass.  First using recycled glass to blow the shapes and then recycling the pieces after drilling.  This piece can now be slumped into a variety of different shapes but is left here now for display.  20" x 20",  all Spectrum Glass by Artist Rick Strini

New Fused Glass  18" diameter,  "opihi Shells" (Opihi (pronounced o-pi'hi) is the Hawaiian name given to the various species of limpets found only in Hawaii.  Right now this is a flat piece which I may slump into a dome shape for a lamp. 12/6/11

"Adventures in Paradise"  Mosaic Series,  Fused Glass Panels  9/25/2011

This piece is a Sculpture, Free Standing Vertical,  36" tall by 22" wide and 1/2" thick.  This is fused pieces of Recycled Blown ware and specifically blown pieces, Rondels all hand decorated.  Once fused, the piece is then returned to the kiln for shaping and slumping. After slumping if done the piece is drilled and mounted on this stainless steel mounting.  This can be also mounted Horizontal and the mounting could be changed to nice Koa wood or equivalent.
